The Wellspring & Yew has reached an exciting stage in its journey.
The strong foundations we’ve been carefully building over the past two years are beginning to grow, and with that comes an opportunity for new people to become part of our story.
We’re currently looking to appoint up to two voluntary Directors to join our Board.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), everything we do is driven by our social purpose. Our goal is to increase access to safe, trusted, high-quality therapeutic support whilst creating a collaborative professional home for exceptional practitioners.
We’re looking for people who believe in that vision and would enjoy helping us shape what comes next. The commitment is manageable, involving a Board meeting approximately every six weeks, occasional discussions between meetings and shared responsibility for supporting the governance and long-term sustainability of the organisation.
Experience in areas such as finance, governance, operations, business development or marketing would be particularly valuable, but these aren’t the only qualities we’re looking for. Equally important are people who bring sound judgement, practical thinking, reliability, integrity and a genuine commitment to helping a community-focused organisation thrive.
We know that some of the very best board members don’t necessarily come from traditional board backgrounds. If you care about improving access to emotional wellbeing, enjoy working collaboratively and feel your skills could strengthen our organisation, we’d genuinely love to hear from you.
